"Three Floors" by Eshkol Nevo

Title sequence for a book

The story presents three confessions of tenants living in the same building. Each floor represents a different part of Freud’s model of the psyche:

The id: Arnon’s destructive instinct, driven by his need to protect his daughter.
The ego: Hani’s struggle to distinguish between right and wrong.
The superego: Dvora’s release from the moral boundaries that shaped her life.

Each floor has its own monochromatic color and atmosphere, inspired by Israeli poster art and the local character of the book.

Created during the third year of studies.
